Financial Education Workshop at Benenden School
On Friday 4th October, the team from Burfields House spent the day with Benenden School’s Fourths (Year 7) pupils to provide our Financial Education workshop.
Financial Education is an important life skill and equips young people with the necessary skills to feel confident when it comes to money.
The Money Matters games sessions are designed to be interactive and high energy, as children compete with each other to learn key skills such as saving, budgeting, managing and spending money. They also introduce the concept of risk and reward.
The feedback was very positive, with pupils saying they found the day fun as well as educational and they enjoyed learning how to manage their money.
