Burfields House Wealth Management Supports Another Successful Benenden Tennis Tournament

Burfields House was delighted to once again sponsor the Tea Tent at this year's Benenden Tennis Tournament, held at Benenden School from 21–26 July.

The tournament was another fantastic success, attracting players of all ages and bringing the local community together for six days of enjoyable tennis. Organisers are hoping to raise around £10,000 for local charities once again this year, continuing the event's tradition of supporting good causes.

A new addition to the tournament for 2026 was the 2 Generation Tournament, held on Friday 24 July. This family-focused event proved to be a real highlight, with parents, children and grandparents teaming up for some friendly competition.

The winners of the inaugural Burfields House Wealth Management Shield were:

• Under 18 Category: Will Wixley and his father, Jim Wixley
• Under 13 Category: Arthur Morrell and Angus Morrell

Congratulations to all the winners and everyone who took part.

The event was blessed with glorious sunshine, and players and spectators enjoyed delicious strawberries, kindly donated by Cranbrook Farm Shop.

We were proud to support another wonderful community event and look forward to being involved again next year.
