Connor joined the Burfields House team having completed his Diploma in Financial Planning with the St. James's Place Financial Adviser Academy and is currently working towards Chartered Financial Planner status. He plans to become a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, in the near future.
Prior to joining St. James's Place, Connor enjoyed a career in professional football playing for Gillingham, Leyton Orient, Crawley & Luton, to name a few teams. At the age of 25, he decided to make a change and prioritise his career away from the football pitch whilst continuing to play football at a semi-professional level.
Connor's career as a professional athlete has given him a range of skills and personal values which are now equally relevant to his role as a financial planner. These include the critical value and importance of trusted relationships, honesty and integrity. His work ethic and absolute commitment are qualities that now influence and underpin everything he does.
Connor's emphasis is on building and maintaining long-term relationships with his clients and to provide them with a source of trusted advice as their financial needs evolve over the years. He offers a bespoke and high-level personal service, taking time to understand people's needs and future aspirations before offering advice. It is about understanding clients’ needs and concerns and working together over the lifetime of the partnership to find solutions.
